He covered economic, add clear VoiP in rural WiFi in an environment of costly mobile charges.. mobicos/ telecos suffer..no wonder their prioritization of "consumer lock-ins" Now add social + political+ tech dimensions.. Social side: will human trafficking rise? porn sites subscriptions escalate? Local production? Are we prepared to cope with imminent "information overload"? Content warfare? Political: With PEV digital hate experience still fresh, how many 2012 hate sites will be there? Fibre in all districts... streaming podcasts.. (longer-term future of broadcasters?) Traditional "politicians influence" as sources of information to rural folks? Tech side: How many run even the most basic of firewalls? anti-virus, etc Will the first 3 months see complete wipeout of data on their connected computers? Whose job is it to prepare and handhold Kenyans into the wonderful connected future? Alex On Sat, Apr 11, 2009 at 5:11 PM, Phares Kariuki <pkariuki@gmail.com> wrote:
