Hi all, I would like to install an internet access control software on a windows machine. The objective is to be able to view the internet connection for all machines in the LAN and be able to enable or disable a particular user / machines from accessing the internet Should also be able to see the bandwidth utilization for each user / Machine on the LAN Any ideas of an open source system. You'll rarely find Open Source apps for Windows, and even when you find, features will not be as robust. Installation will mostly be painful. Windows itself is not Open Source. That is why. I think you can run Squid on Windows, with authentication and with Delay Pools so that you can apportion Internet Bandwidth.
