Basically he should get an IP camera! If his office has Internet already, and If the cam allows access to via webpage/http, he should use the camera config page to setup an access port (this will be NATed on the router) so that he uses the public ip:port number combination on the URL of a browser (while at home) and this should work. For Cameras that don't have options for the access via http, u have to do research on which is the best, and if that camera app support viewing over internet. PS: This will depend on the capacity of his link at the office. A 512/512kbps link should be minimum I guess!
