Too big a box and you get muffled sound while too small sound like a speaker in a tin can. horrible. next time you want that real sound without much graphic equalizers, I think there should be online formulas to do the right box. Eric, some of the best these days are PC surround sound systems which are much smaller comapred to boxes that dont have acostic wol. They cost about 7K to 10K but run on 240volts. You could use an 12 volts 375watt DC to AC invertor to power these ( pls ensure fitting is done by a professional, AC and DC ground are different for safety ) to. If your audio system has LINE OUT, the speakers will work fine. On Mon, May 18, 2009 at 3:58 PM, Eric Mugo <kabugum@gmail.com> wrote:

Is that right? I've actually been eyeing those speakers whenever i'm in those electronic shops thinking to myself "Hmmm.....if only i could find a way of hooking that up in my mots" Now that's a creative way of having a small nice clean but powerfull woofer in the boot. Looking for something similar.... I'm hoping I can get my hands on a nice little subwoofer that has an external 12 volt DC power supply. That would hook up nicely in the car.....problem is I just haven't had time to window shop. Anyone seen that around somewhere?
