The STB is not intelligent enough to know its location. What matters is the satellite. If you go to SA from KE and point to Eutelsat 36B, the service will work. SA use Intelsat 20 Ku South Africa Beam, which does not cover the rest of Africa thus a box from SA wont work here because of satellite coverage and nothing more.
