Mikrotik and Credit Card Issues

Hi, Tried to verify a KCB Card on Mikrotik account server but can't get past the card verification process - always FAILS. Has anyone succeeded in verifying a local debit card and managed to procure a licence key through their credit card option... Kindly advice on experiences and or other alternatives. Thanks, Chris_w. dabnix@gmail.com

Register your KCB card with PayPal then pay on mikrotik.com with your paypal account. Always works for me that way without hitches.

Hi Haggai, Didn't get the PayPal payment option from the MT account. That could have solved my issues big time! Seem to be missing it... any leads 8-). Thanks, Chris_w. dabnix@gmail.com

I bought some licenses November last year with paypal & the KCB debit card. You need to create an account with mikrotik on https://www.mikrotik.com/client/ - After logging in with the credentials go to *Generate a NEW software KEY > Purchase a key * - Select license level and number of licenses - Enter the softid's (software id) as copied from System > License (on winbox) for the RouterOS installations you have and select the respective platform (x86, routerboard 230, other routerboards) - The third step will have your total order and you'll have 2 options, pay by CC or pay by Paypal

Hi Haggai, Have tried this for days and cant understand why the option for payment is only by credit card. The PayPal option does not exist - or nolonger exists. Maybe other options :~| Regards, Chris_w. dabnix@gmail.com

That's weird...as I created the step-by-step guide when I was logged into my MT account. I can arrange to get the license(s) for you at no extra cost, contact me offlist.

Hi Haggai, Decided to contact Mikrotik directly and below, some of their feedback: <MT RESPONSES> *On Credit Card* We found a problem with our credit card charging system, we are working with
the bank right now to solve it.
Please try to make a purchase again tomorrow, it should be solved by then.
*On PayPal* We don't offer paypal payment by default, only in special cases. As I said, CC payment will be back in a short while </MT RESPONSES> Will be trying to complete the transaction in few days if I go by their word. Thanks for your input. Chris_w. dabnix@gmail.com

Then I guess I'm a bit special, as I can still do it via PayPal :) I've just followed through with a dummy purchase right up to the point where I'm supposed to click the yellow 'Pay Now' button on the PayPal gateway. My offer still stands.
