Re: [Skunkworks] Looking For A Job

Greetings, i have just completed my studies at Strathmore University where i was doing Bachelor of Business Information & Technology. I am awaiting graduation on June 27th but as i do so, i am currently looking for a job. I look forward to hearing from you. BestRegards Kanja Dennis.

Having been a jobless guy in the very recent past, let me offer some advice. Dissociate what you did in school with looking for a job. Unless you did Medicine or Law, very few people work strictly within their disciplines. In light of this remember that commercial companies are only interested in 2 things. Increase revenue and reduce cost. Every employee in every company is doing one or the other and that is their value to the organisation. Increase revenue or reduce cost. Most companies are not too concerned about what you did in campus but interested in what you can do for them. College education usually indicates that you have some brains between your ears and will let you have a foot in the door. The rest is upto you. Keep an eye on http://www.ihub.co.ke/jobsboard. I presume you have already picked a field in IT you enjoy, master a skill or two in that field. DO NOT attempt to be a jack of all trades! On Mon, May 5, 2014 at 2:37 PM, Isaac Kiplagat <isaac.kiplagat@gmail.com>wrote:
