GoTV - Suddenly Breaches contract - PayTV for Local Channels

The government assured all Kenyans that local channels will be free. My local channels suddenly go off and GoTV says they pulled the "free to air" two months ago - and from hence we have to pay. Was this a plan by the Government ? Who is protecting the consumers? Where can one raise this issue ? BR/ Stephen N.

Did you pay that 2,500 that they said is to enable you access FTA channels? Please call them, record the convo and share! On 14 September 2016 at 19:25, ndungu stephen via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

Hallo Washington, I paid as per agreement and I got those free Local Channels for over a year. This new information that the deal was cancelled this month - that now we have to make regular payments to view even the basic KBC. Let me record and send. BR/ Stephen N. Hallo Mark, COFEK - they sound like a good fit. GoTV returned my free local channels subscription, they said the previous customer care handlers had made a mistake. But it is good to know this for next time. Thanks. BR/ Stephen N. On Wed, Sep 21, 2016 at 11:48 AM, Mark Mwangi <mwangy@gmail.com> wrote:
