I have been wondering and actually had raised an issue last week on the metrics that can be used to measure performance of a web hosting service. I believe if we could come up with objective metrics we would use them to rate the providers and the cases of hating on others would cease as the evaluation would be straight and objective. As connectivity becomes better we should know that we have no excuses not to offer some of these services locally, but the issue will be how do we rate them without being biased. You can be sure if we continue basing our evaluation on some previous experience we are bound to make mistakes. cheers pithon kamau wrote:
