The Nokia Lumias have auto restore. Your problem would happen if an update was interrupted. I cant completely remember the process but I think its something like hold the power button for about 8 (or more seconds) it will then vibrate and go off. 1. Either connect it to your PC with Zune installed it should be able to figure out and fix the problem sometimes this will take several minutes so be patient or simple just 2. Restart the phone and leave it even though the screen goes blank, leave it alone for several minutes even if there is nothing displayed on screen, it should restore the os and boot normally after its done... patience agsin is key here
