ONE COMPUTER – 4 INDEPENDENT MONITORS/SCREENS -

Hi Guys , I need to operate 4 display LCD Screens from one computer . Each Display Screen displaying a web based link (Unique URL)as below [image: Inline images 2] *Screen - Displaying * *Screen 1 - URL Link 1* *Screen 2 - URL Link 2 * *Screen 3 - URL Link 3 * *Screen 4 - URL Link 4 * Is there a way to do this either via a network(Cat 6) VGA Splitter . All the Links are managed from a CRM and the Output is via a Website Link. Please let me know if any of you has such a solution. -- Regards , Charles

Depending on length, you may want to consider DVI or HDMI first of all: http://www.bluejeanscable.com/articles/how-long-can-hdmi-run.htm http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133260 But a similar VGA card will work as well. Any modern OS can handle running the outputs independently. -- Kili.io - OpenStack for Africa: kili.io Musings: twitter.com/varud <https://twitter.com/varud> About Adam: www.linkedin.com/in/adamcnelson On Thu, Oct 10, 2013 at 10:37 AM, Charles Murithi <ckmurithi@gmail.com>wrote:

Off the top of my head and In order of descending cost:- *Plan A* - Install A GPU that has 4 independent display ports. Have all your monitors connected there) *Plan B* - Connect 4 thin client boxes to your PC. Connect a monitor to each. *Plan C* - If your motherboard has 4 PCI slots, Install 4 old school PCI VGA cards. Connect a monitor to each. *Plan D* - Set your resolution to 4 times the max res of each monitor. Set your desktop to display 1/4 of the view port. Share your desktop ( via VNC ) on 3 other PCs on the same lan. Reposition your browser & vnc client windows on each. ... ... ... *Plan Z* - Get 4 independent PCs. Open your webapp on each _______________________________________________ *“My Server is Possessed by Daemons.”* _______________________________________________ * * 2013/10/10 Ken Muturi <muturiken@gmail.com>

I do this everyday with matrox graphics cards, please look for them online or get someone to supply you. I currently use 16 screens from one computer with not just different URL's but different programs running for monitoring ./Ok3ch On Thu, Oct 10, 2013 at 5:07 PM, James Nzomo <kazikubwa@gmail.com> wrote:

Another thing you need to keep in mind is that not most newer LCD screens come with a VGA port, you'll have to grab older models. Like Okech, I recommend for you the Matrox cards, tried and tested. On 10 October 2013 17:28, Okechukwu <okechukwu@gmail.com> wrote:

I need to operate 4 display LCD Screens from one computer . Each Display Screen displaying a web based link (Unique URL)as below
[image: Inline images 2] *Screen - Displaying * *Screen 1 - URL Link 1* *Screen 2 - URL Link 2 * *Screen 3 - URL Link 3 * *Screen 4 - URL Link 4 *
Is there a way to do this either via a network(Cat 6) VGA Splitter . All the Links are managed from a CRM and the Output is via a Website Link.
Please let me know if any of you has such a solution. -- Regards , Charles
