... a while back, there was word (http://www.cio.co.ke/Main-Stories/huawei-ideos-x5-x3-s7.html) that the huawei x5 would be soon be sold by safcom. in fact, it was said that they would be made available in stores 3 weeks after the publication of that news entry on 17th may... so... is there any safcomist who can update us with info about the phone?

No idea yet on expected dates, but as a premonition, Safaricom seem to be doing a stock clearance of the IDEOS
