Web Developer, SEO Specialist and Social Media Manager Needed

*Web Developer* *Responsibilities* - Develop highly interactive and robust user-facing features across desktop and mobile web platforms - Continually identify areas of opportunity to optimise client-side performance and scalability - Collaborate with product managers and other engineers and thrive on feedback, critique, and iteration *What we're looking for* - Experience of writing code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as PHP or JavaScript - Experience of working with open source technologies – Such as WordPress and Drupal - Experience with Front end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation - Basic understanding of front-end performance tuning, best practices and techniques - Basic understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them - Extremely thorough, detail-oriented, organised, with the ability to be effective with your time. *SEO Specialist* *Responsibilities* - Be the in-house SEO expert and evangelize SEO best practices throughout the company, responding to issues and questions as they arise across product and marketing - Clearly define SEO requirements and recommend site enhancements designed to increase our average ranking and drive traffic, trials, new stores and revenue. - Maximize organic traffic growth by establishing a robust SEO target keyword list and working closely with marketing colleagues across all channels, including content, email, web, PR and social. *What we're looking for* - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong presentation skills - A strong metrics-driven mind-set - Strong working knowledge of and proficiency with Web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, MixPanel - Deep understanding of how search bots crawl websites - Good understanding of CMS environments such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal - Sound knowledge of HTML and CSS to identify code-based optimization opportunities *Social Media Manager* *Responsibilities* - Implement and grow the social media strategy that aligns with company goals and raises brand awareness, generates a positive buzz, creates conversation and ultimately delivers website visits and conversions (leads & signups) - Daily creation of targeted content for use across different social media outlets - Syndication of existing content across different social media outlets, amending for different audiences/platforms as necessary - Daily management, monitoring and evaluation (under supervision of Head of Communications) of the Group social media channels - Listening and reacting (when required) to segmented groups of customers, prospects, influencers and competitors - Drive measurable engagement across all social media channels and demonstrate the value on monthly basis - Develop new engagement programs for social media outlets and embrace new outlets for distributing content excellence based upon solid data driven decisions *What we're looking for* - Proven track record of building and maintaining a loyal following across social media outlets by generating unique and relevant content for that environment, giving users a reason to become a fan and constantly engaging them - Success in generating results in the social media space and proficient in Google Analytics to track success of campaigns - Experience using social media monitoring and scheduling platforms - Obsessive true social media user and expert - across all major platforms - Consumer awareness - quick to understand a brand`s audience - Extensive knowledge of current and future channels - Excellent written, verbal and numeracy skills - Team player, hard-working with can-do attitude Anyone interested and qualified should contact jack@designvillage.co.ke.
