Hi guys, Am using an orange fixed plus connection(huawei desktop and those old telkom wireless RUIMs) and was wondering if anyone else has used it to advise me on the speeds they are getting. Am downloading an ISO and cant get the speeds to go anywhere above 15kB/s. . .at this rate al spend a k on credit n it will take a day or two. . . . Your best bet is to get something that charges per mb, that way, irrespective of the time it takes, you pay for actual consumption. @Mark, I use Orange EVDO ( 3g+) and its pretty good and reliable for now. Download speeds @ max 30KB/s and Upload @ max 20KB/s. And its been holding these speeds quite well. Its also reliable too. There's a great feature in their system that automatically emails you your data balance each time you complete a usage session. You can also check your data usage stats via the web page portal. So overall, its great. Awaiting teams into this network. BTW, KDN has some great deals too. I hear you can buy bandwidth bundles of upto dedicated duplex 128kbps Seacom capacity at about 75usd plus vat/month. HTHs. :-)

@Mark, suggest you hold off for now. KDN has good rates on dedicated Seacom, am sure others are also considering the teams angle. @Riyaz mentioned that some interesting packages expected on teams. I think teams is expected by end of september and KDN, wananch is also included in the teams team. Rgds.
