Hi, For those who may not be aware Safaricom now has an *online payment gateway*which you can integrate into your applications/websites and have transactions processed seamless. My tests of the gateway show that its integrated with M-PESA as well as Paypal which means you can have your customers choose to pay you via M-PESA or via any Credit Card/Debit Card. Contact me off-list for more details or for me to put you in touch with the integration team (not sure i can publish their contacts here without their info). Regards

Does this mean, i can have my paypal money converted into mpesa? rgds *_______________________________________________________________ We must Keep on, * On Fri, Jun 22, 2012 at 8:41 AM, bernard kioko <bernsoft@gmail.com> wrote:

@martin Eventually Safcom will do all things we do and take up the least of the markets, all we have to do is keep doing it until they eventually make you close shop on that end and become a marketer or integrator(as far as their products go). I guess they have money enough to do it. case in point, they or are on their way to introducing the SPD thing or have (i've no clue) Where your SMPP implentations will be thrown to the shelves and everyone will jump to the cloud.(good for biz, bad for smiths). These are just my thots only that history sheds some light. rgds *_______________________________________________________________ We must Keep on, * On Fri, Jun 22, 2012 at 9:21 AM, bernard kioko <bernsoft@gmail.com> wrote:

Great .. development !! On a lighter note .. I hope we can get to the age of getting paid *HARD CASH * online literally.. Eg. I send you a G and it prints out on the printer next to you PAP !

On that same lighter note..... i think this is already the case at Dela Rue.....all the desktops have a "Print Money" button. So before you leave for lunch, you click "Print Money" and you select the Restaurant...it prints an amount respective to what you would spend there. Oh, and they use Dot Matrix printers for that! No Api docs on the site.... Sigh. If Safaricom is listening... It would be awesome to have some API documentation on the website. Better that by publishing api libs for common languages ([C|C++]/Ruby/Python/PHP/.net). Top it all by providing developers with a fake-mpesa stub to test against...
