We are finalizing the purchase of a HP DL 160 server for around 130,000.00 Given that we have only received one contribution in the last month, we think it's high time we purchsed the box. The server will be bought in the UK and shipped here (pricing issues). If anyone has any suggestions/ideas, please forward them before end of week, as we will have moved with the purchase by then. Yes, for warranty issues, it is easier to deal with local. But I never consider warranty when I can buy th same machine at almost half the local rate. I bought my iMac from Amazon and it developed problems. I still found it cheaper to get a technician and pay him / her 5k and he sorted it out.
