To comment about the Facebook connect login,that could be a plus for you because if more users are opting not to register using it,it could be that they(like me) find your registration process quick and easy.I also tend to think that Twitter connect is far less popular here than FB connect so its probably not worth it.
Sort the search functionality,befriend Google Analytics and you'll be fine!
