I attended the Microsoft Open door and they did not disappoint the talks were refined and cartegorized for partners, Developers and IT Pros.. I thought the guys did not explain well how to use the MS Lync in the local scenario, and even in the movie they showed. For example, I left without knowing how the server would connect to the PSTN. And that movie of a guy with a supposedly lync gadget installed in the car - they showed something big without explaining! Generally (I was in the IT Pros Hall), it was a nice marketing seminar all the same. One guy did a super presentation - about Windows Live Essentials 2011. The auditorium where I sat was fully packed in the morning session. Once the folks went for lunch, most did not come back, and many kept leaving even as the presentations went on! One guy told me they attend such seminars just for the giveaways:-)
