Has anyone been able to lower this setting past the max allowed? I find it too bright to be used in the dark. -- Regards, Mark Mwangi markmwangi.me.ke

Have you tried the obvious option? Go to Settings -> Brightness and Wallpaper --> etcetra ?

Double press the home button so that the running applications. Then touch any app display and move your finger to the right. The brightness bar will appear. What I am saying is that even at the lowest setting, It is still to bright to be used in the dark. I was looking for a hack to take it lower than that. I have see others complain about the same on the ipad forums. Was trying to see if anyone else had figured out how to do it. Hmmm, @Mark This is sadly the debate for Amazon-Tablet-Reader vs iPad - natural backlight that feels like a book. You cant get this from iPad as iPad was not built as a pure reader... This is very much a screen property..

You used "hack" and "iPad" in the same sentence? You go make Steve Jobs turn in his grave.

Your eyes must be the bright one, try wear shades while using the iPad #PunIntended ./Ok3ch Sent from my iPad On Dec 19, 2012, at 2:46 PM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:
