I believe, it is possible to get an IOS from a similar router. maybe from a skunker....and use that on yours.....

If the IOS image is stored in the flash (assuming the "similar" router factor) , then I believe you can simply upload the file to an TFTP server, from where you can again upload it to the affected router. i did it with a switch although i only uploaded the new IOS from the TFTP server. so i am not sure how to copy the IOS to the server in the first place, but i assume it would be straight forward..
