Hello Watchman, Are you looking at running Zentyal as VM or native? Cause its based on Ubuntu so you don't need another OS to install natively only if you are running as a VM and with the specs below you'll need an extremely light host OS for best performance. -----Original Message----- From: Watchman <skunkingrahim@gmail.com> To: joe.njeru@gmail.com, Skunkworks Mailing List <skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> Subject: Re: [Skunkworks] Linux Server Date: Thu, 14 Apr 2011 17:10:25 +0300 Hardware is being looked for. @watchman, from experience, zentyal is buggy. (at least when i tried to run it for captive portal and radius auth, i ended up deploying pfsense which to say the least is a beauty. that aside, i have a hp workstation 6000, its old school but has a P4, two Duo cores and plenty of room for RAM and storage. (currently running 80GB / 1GB Ram. If interested with something more like 15k, ill gladly let go. On Wed, Apr 20, 2011 at 11:09 AM, Jangita Nyagudi <jangita.nyagudi@gmail.com
