ASUS (RT-N16) Wireless-N 300 Router

Good People, Does anyone know where I can get an ASUS (RT-N16) Wireless-N 300 Router locally? Here is a link to the same on Amazon : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00387G6R8/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=178... -- Kind Regards, Moses Muya.

@Moses, Can you say what feature it is you see in this particular device that you've fallen for? There are other WiFi routers in the market that have those features (and I even believe same chipset) which have the same. Sorry, I know I did not answer your question since I don't have the answer, but other suggestions. On Mon, Nov 26, 2012 at 1:16 PM, Moses Muya <mouzmuyer@gmail.com> wrote:

@Wash I want to have a wireless home router that I can load a custom firmware(tomato). Previously, I have used a Linksys wrt54gl with ddwrt - it served me well btw - but I want to change to something else. That's the only motivation! #vanity :) On 26 November 2012 14:08, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com> wrote:

So it's not that you want a draft-N type router? Well, if your WLAN cards don't support draft-N, then there is no need for it, unless you want that on your Droid, if you have one. Tomato is good firmware, but I wonder what it does on a home router? How do you use it? How is it better than stock firmware that came with your router? Heheee... motivation for change being #vanity, I really cannot dissuade you:-) All TP-Link routers you find in the market (3420 and 3220) support dd-wrt (which is as good as tomato, or even better), are draft-N, support 3G on the USB port, but not storage... Because your quest is driven by vanity, either get one of those TP-Links or just get this ASUS directly from Amazon. I don't know any local dealers. @ Wash He he...because the motivation here is vanity and nothing else but vanity, I can change to any other. The TP-Link routers look awesome. Where can I get the 3420 or 3020 locally and for how much? On 26 November 2012 15:33, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com> wrote:
