Hi pple There's this idiot who keeps nagging me calling at un-godly hours of the night with hidden identity. Any idea how i can catch up him/her? Am tired of getting 10 miss calls at 3am on a whole monday morning, and nagging early calls on wknd mornings when i surely deserve some rest!!!.. I havent tried this but u can give it a trial,activate your Voice mail,when the so called idiot ,calls,disconnect (press the red button :) ),it registers to the voicemail the call 111 & Listen to the voicemail,the call was from 07.... I've had some experience with this. At the end of the day, for you to give the cops the onus to actually request the operator for the user's details etc, you have to show there is a likelyhood of a crime being commited. Fortunately the laws around this make this easier. However, you will need to establish a trend that they can use when you report them. Record the exact times and dates you are receiving the calls, try call back and see what response you get...if none, text them and ask them to stop harrasing you. If despite all this you get no response but the calls still keep coming, you should be able to get something to stick when you go upfront. Otherwise, someone can just say they had a bad connection...or they thought it was someone else, and that will be the end of it. So build a trend that you can use to show, that despite your efforts to get them to stop, they persisted. It also helps build an easier track for the guys to follow. E.g. In the case above the guy calls with a hidden number so texting back would not be an option.I have seen a case where an employee of a telco was able to see a guy's number even when you hide the number. In this case even if u hide the number on your phone he was able to see the caller ID on his phone. So my question is why does the Telco's allow somebody to hide your number? Am tired of getting 10 miss calls at 3am on a whole monday morning, and nagging early calls on wknd mornings when i surely deserve some rest!!!.. Plus they don't say a thing when i pick up the calls..
Any ideas are welcome..
