Hi, Theres a history to the kenya.info domain name. I have to say am glad to see that its playing a role as it was intended to from the start. For those who maybe interested, at the introduction of the .info TLD in 2001, all country names in the TLD were reserved for a period (known as a sunrise period). It was required that each country claim/register the names during the set period. In 2003 KENIC on behalf of the Kenyan Govt completed the registration process for kenya.info. It was handed over to the Ministry of Communications in 2005 with a website and certificate of ownership to go along with it. The first version of the website was designed by SawaSawa.com.
