hello skunks, im fairly new to this but ive seen the immense potential of this and gotten myself a couple of boards. Im in the process of evaluating these possibly for use for feedback and control in a couple of projects im running. Any users / enthusiasts that have played with these to share projects? Cheers. -- Posted on 100% recycled electrons

i'm interested but do which shields do you have. On Mon, Feb 1, 2010 at 10:05 AM, [ Brainiac ] <arebacollins@gmail.com>wrote:

Just came across this article that shows how one guy used it to set up a laser trigger for his camera. Neat stuff! http://egmgem.com http://gitonga.imagekind.com On Tue, Feb 2, 2010 at 10:19 PM, Jamal Mohamed <jamal.worx@gmail.com> wrote:

I got a few arduino boards too.... Tested a small program to run motors and for sensors to pick up objects - quite interesting, and easy too. I have not done much, but I have played with them abit. These things are quite robust - and one small board like the "arduino duemilanove" or the great "atmega" - can do quite a lot - not discounting:
digital analogue serial parallel
Input and output. Such boards are the things that create those car-tracking devices and car-alarms, not forgetting the door and window sensors. Its practically a computer in itself that you can use to run things remotely. Guys should really look at this. w/regards SNN

Suggestion - maybe we should have a special arduino skunkworks session soon? Anywhere to pick them up locally? BR, S -- Sent from my socks®

Suggestion: University of Nairobi - Mechanical Engineering department - Ground floor next to E0001.... There is a whole lab dedicated for these kind of microcontroller projects - in the lab formerly known as Main Frame Lab. Its open for non-student researchers and enthusiasts. Pop in and find out if its a suitable place for experiments... w/regards SNN.
