Hi Skunks I have this Domain Controller that has serious space issues on drive C. Apparently, other drives have space that I would love to borrow from but the Disk Management wont shrink/extend. I have taken the risk to pop in Mepis Linux Live CD wishing it would run in RAM and give me GParted but i dont think Win Server was made like that. Any ideas would be appreciated, even the most obvious, I don't mind running through them with a fresh pair of eyes Running Win 2008 Server Standard

EaseUS Partition Master <http://www.partition-tool.com/> has worked fine for me before. With the usual caveats, of course On Tue, Jul 28, 2015 at 7:40 PM, [db] via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

Bwana, Thanks for that but this is a trial. It could do the job but what if it stops somewhere in the middle with a "Easeus cannot continue until you purchase a licence"? On 28 July 2015 at 20:14, Bwana Lawi <mail2lawi@gmail.com> wrote:

get a Small PC install 2008 , make it a secondary domain , this will sort availability issues when you're extending C , but first find out what's eating up your C drive use tree size , i'm sure there are apps there that can be moved to the other partitions without causing too much drama On Wed, Jul 29, 2015 at 10:48 AM, George Irungu via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

George, The previous updates over the months is the biggest culprit. There isnt much in the way of applications actually. Cleaning up the WinSxS has been a problem because i think someone went that route before and now its locked. On 29 July 2015 at 11:05, geoffrey gitagia <ggitagia@gmail.com> wrote:

This is brilliant, just like other ideas here but i am inclined to try this first. It looks like the faster and safer way to get back up. Of course the backup is paramount and I shall embark on it first. On 29 July 2015 at 10:48, George Irungu <g.irungu@logicalcrest.co.ke> wrote:

I like Geoffrey’s suggestion of installing a backup AD, if you don’t already have 1.
