Anthony, Orange is already running the 3G+ which is good enough. Why do you need them to have 3G when Queen Bee already has it?:-) Zain will launch soon. Wash, Orange's 3+ is purely marketing speak (its actually a CDMA technology Read EVDO) All operators in Kenya run on GSM technology. Only Orange have CDMA as well as GSM. The two technologies are quite different and handsets, RIUMs cannot be transferred from one to the other. I have not seen CDMA starmphones in Kenya (Only on gsmarena). That's why I am keen. Airtel is the best thing that has happened to the Kenyan Telecom market and time will bear me witness. Were it not for them the next few years would have seen us riding safaricom buses and drinking safaricom mineral water. For once we have and operator who thinks about lowering price and making money out of volume as opposed to being milked for all you have which is the Safcom model.
