$10,000 worth of advice on Software as a Service

Skunks, In my view, this is just selling pitch for Xero. What I always wonder is who answers the hard questions. What about data confidentiality when you put it in a cloud environment? What if all details of your clients are disclosed to a competitor? There are many questions that need answers especially before big corporations embrace SAAS. Its not just a question of convenience and price. In some cases someone needs to develop an in-house CRM. regards, J@m3s On Feb 6, 2015 1:04 PM, "Matt Gathu via skunkworks" < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

@james, those points you have raised can happen whether in-house or SAAS. Just because a server is seated right there in your server room doesn't mean its any more secure than a virtual one seated across the world. In fact, it might be less secure. Confidential data can be easily breached, all it takes is one rogue employee. On 6 Feb 2015 18:13, "James Kagwe via skunkworks" <skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:
