Has anyone been able to purchase music from itunes lately. Do let me know how you went around the country restriction hack. I have tried putting US but I think it detects that the card on my paypal account is a non USA card. Cheers Kevin

When the west just makes it hard to pay for stuff, just go ahead and get it for free. They never learn ...

The music licences Apple signs with the publishers is done on a country by country basis. Most countries (including Kenya) are not covered so Apple does not sell music in the Kenyan Store. Same applies for movies and TV program purchases and rentals. To answer your question, you can't as long as your default Store is Kenya. My default Store is US, so I have always been able to buy music, movies and TV shows. But to setup a store in any country, you need an address and payment method (credit card) valid in that country. So in your case, changing your store to US or other country will just not work. The laws in Kenya and other countries are murky when it comes to copyright protection, and given that these are tiny markets for Apple, I think Apple just does not care or doesn't want to through all the hassle.

Set up your account in "US" then top up your account with gift card codes. You can buy iTunes gift cards from eBay e.t.c. On Mon, Nov 7, 2011 at 4:48 PM, Okechukwu <okechukwu@gmail.com> wrote:
