I Suggest to follow the harmonized draft suggestions Why dont we democratically decide what is OT and what is nOT? I find myself going through the following 1. Desire to post on skunkworks 2. Writes email 3. Considers if email is offtopic or offensive 4. Re reads email 5. Decides its not worth it 6. Deletes email and moves 7. Rants and Raves at reguation on other forums or facebook :-) Why dont we democratically self regulate? Im a techie but working in a totally unrelated field. I feel targetted yet ive been an ardent participant on skunkworks.....I particularly enjoy some off topic posts , I detest political posts or religious ones.....cant we just agree? I bet this is the POPULAR 'General Chatter' 3. *Work positions/Product ads and solicitations*: now this one is outrageous. This is what completes the whole cycle. As in once i get to learn from skunkworks or some other place, i get to look for a job, want to employ someone who sounds 'he knows IT', sell my product by ads and get feedback on the same. and the list is endless. Dont kill this crucial cycle!!!

I think We have co-orporate skunks and individual skunks, and the requirements for both are different. co-corporates abhor offtopic and of course co-orporate bashing, while individual skunks seem to love them. Maybe its time we splitto a stricter skunkworks and a regular skunkworks. what remains to be seen is how united we will stand and how divided we will fall.
