Throwing a spanner into the works - if you can stream 3 thousand books per secon but can only read at most, what say - 5 words per second reading as fast as you can... doesn't that equate to inefficiency??? A bit like running a teeny-weeny application, one window only, to compute 1+1 on a super computer capable of extremely large scale distributed parallel processing...
