Replace ERC with a simple software
So a bunch of old geezers meet up every other month with calculators and pencils, 4hrs after the meeting fuel prices go up by unimaginable margins. Whatever formula they use always give a higher RRP for fuel. Is it just me who feels these guys can be replaced by a simple algorithm that can work these numbers on the fly without being subjective n without some sort of bias. Sent from my iPad

So long as senior government officials and leadership have substantial stake in the Petroleum Industry ,ERC will always be manipulated to increase fuel prices. If the reasons given for the first increase were a) Weaker Shilling b) Higher International prices (because of the war in Libya blah blah) And these factors have already been rectified to some extent isn't it a no brainer that fuel prices should decrease? The oil cartels are so powerful that they run the ERC. Kenyans should result to walk to work for a month. Meanwhile on a lighter note if your girlfriend always complains that you don't take her to expensive places any more,take her to a petrol station.
