Where does someone register and copyright an App in Kenya? KR, Simon

Are they online? I would very much dislike it if it's papers again at this day and age. On Wed, May 29, 2013 at 12:42 PM, Mark Mwangi <mwangy@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi. My understanding of the process is as follows. 1. To copyright an application or any original piece all you need to do is put the copyright symbol. The c enclosed in a circle. So you may have an about section somewhere in your application. Indicating owner and date. 2. To register a patent is more technical, you will need to document the functionality of your application, for example the uniqueness of your code and what it does. You will then register this with KiPi. 3. The Copyright board will help with enforcement of the copyright should someone infringe on this. Your challenge would be to prove that you are the first produce the original piece. Evidence of taking it to market first will be the first indicator. Regards.
