Wireless connectivity (to the end users) better suits this scenario, furthermore, from the access points to the default gateway, you can implement structured cabling. On Tue, Mar 11, 2014 at 11:13 AM, wa <wanangu@gmail.com> wrote:

They both have pro's and cons Wireless: - mobility - ease of installation and maintenance - ease of upgrade - most equipment comes wifi ready - ease of support NETWORK - fixed - easier support - more reliable Personally would advocate for wireless you can contact us for deployment on cs@unifiedgroupafrica.com On Tue, Mar 11, 2014 at 11:25 AM, Michael Bullut <main@kipsang.com> wrote:

What is the approx amount of data transfer required? In my opinion wireless will work best for normal use scenarios i.e small file transfers, email, web browsing etc. however experiences differ with the wireless end device in use. For heavy network use e.g if there is a file server and people are moving large files back and forth then go for structured cabling. On Tue, Mar 11, 2014 at 11:13 AM, wa <wanangu@gmail.com> wrote:

A hybrid solution works, since there will always be those who can portend with wireless and those that require cabling - think of other things even in future like VOIP etc ./Ok3ch On Tue, Mar 11, 2014 at 9:30 AM, Jimmy Thuo <jimmy.thuo@gmail.com> wrote:

+1 @thuo.the key pointers when deciding are the kind of traffic, voice, data and video . Regardless of all users being on one floor,I would incline to cable,cats6 trunk and fibre backbone to other floors.think also scalability. ...siku za usoni. . Hi, I would suggest a hybrid system. And when you decide, you can consider Huawei devices. They have nice APs, switches and routers that function well. I have deployed them in a couple of sites and customers are satisfied. Also they are well priced. You can contact me i gave you a pointer.
