Diameter billing on Ericsson

Hi Skunks Does anyone have the above code or integration? -- Conservatism is the adherence to the old tried against the new untried.

Thanks Tony, looking at it. Does the stack include the code on how to don billing on shortcodes or which one precisely? ./TheMburu On Tue, May 28, 2013 at 3:42 PM, Tony Likhanga <tlikhanga@gmail.com> wrote:

You will have to take care of the events that will trigger charging on your end before calling on the sdk to do it's magic. Bear in mind that for the actual integration you will need the following details (normally provided by the team in charge of the E/// charging platfom) - Product ID - IP addresses - Transport protocol to use - Realm Anyhow... just get the bundle; there's loads of documentation to see you through. PS : By "shortcodes", I take it that you are into Mobile Services OpCo-speak. What service are you looking at? - SMS? USSD? Voice? The reason I ask is: I think that some services are popularly charged via UCIP rather than Diameter.

Sorry, I'm not in a position to assist with the implementation. If you are doing this from 'outside' the mobile network, then your best bet is to approach a licenced PRSP or CP<http://cck.go.ke/licensing/downloads/Register_of_ULF_Licensees-30th_June_2011.pdf> to discuss your needs. There's loads of CCK regulations around the telecomms short code business. For the uninitiated, here's some light read<http://www.iddsalim.com/blog/2009/11/30/a-complete-idiots-guide-on-making-money-in-kenya-using-premium-sms/>on the SMS short-code stuff. Tony.
