The other day Google funded ICT communities.(ihub) Whats keep me wondering is that though funds are available, I still am waiting to see a major breakthrough in ICT especially for IT guys.I included. @Michelle, I have come to realize that lots of peeps in the ICT industry are doing what can be called "creative and innovative" but the problem is that they never make it to the main stream media, so most people never get to know about them, which can then lead them to conclude that nothing is happening. I totally second that. I believe that there is creativity and innovation here locally, but they never make it. And if they do, wow!! That will have taken like ages for them to be noticed or even say "not-local" organisations noticing them. Like the guy who came up with the CCTV project straight to the phone. He did great.
