Though time might be a constraint, I personally think that the inventory project shouldn't be rushed over with the aim of just completing the project yet disregarding achieving specified functionality and thorough testing. @Rad...just be in Edge shoes...if you want to beat the target ....you have to....if there's no alternative.. the inventory can be done in a day...what he needs is a fast guy to do it but i know it will be hard to find a skillful person who meets the requirement. In my professional opinion it is not possible to get a system of any substance developed in a single day. No one, no matter how skilled can design, build, debug, test and document a fully featured inventory system in a single day. I did put myself in his shoes.
