Skunks Does anyone know whether If I use the DSTV Drifta with my Laptop that has a hdmi out I can project the signal on my TV. If so it is a plot considering that its only 450 bob a month and you get some of the Premium Sports Channels with the Premier League I can as well stop the Premium DSTV subscription and jump to that one because quite honesty thats why I have DSTV. Just thinking..... Kevin

Probably use a projector to a wall / screen..... interesting < opportunity- football screening kiosks> On Thu, Sep 22, 2011 at 5:18 PM, Kevin Omondi <kevin.ouma@gmail.com> wrote:

I have the drifta and the image size is pathetically small and unclear on a laptop screen - and you cannot resize it at all, but its perfect size on the iPad - maybe an iPad or Android tablet with HDMI out will be more reason. ./Ok3ch On Thu, Sep 22, 2011 at 5:27 PM, benson maina <bensonmaina@gmail.com> wrote:

Strange even the recently launched GoTV had unclear and low quality images, maybe its optimising the bandwidth

A while ago, I read from a South African blog about how guys were getting around the screen size using zooming software (Qzoom, Aerozoom et al). Someone should try that out and give their take. BTW: What's the model of the Drifta that was launched in Kenya? There's the Larger (old) one that supports mobile devices & the Smaller (new) one that's targeted for use on a PC. Good reference : http://j-j.co.za/
