Microsoft: Future Interface is Kinect

Last year I said in jest that Kinect could find it's way to the enterprise turns out am not very wrong. In an interview with Maria Bartiromo and Steve Ballmer he alludes to the same. http://www.usatoday.com/money/companies/management/bartiromo/2011-01-17-bart... Maria Q: What's the most important technology trend that you think will happen in 2011, 2012? SB A: People will focus on two things: natural user interface and the Cloud, with natural interface meaning voice, touch, vision recognition. You see this stuff in Kinect, you see it in phones, you see it in tablets. Cloud?? (sic). In my humble opinion (IMHO), Microsoft has produced only two noteworthy products viz Excel and Kinect. I have confirmed attendance, cant wait to go see how the Microsoft pitch has changed over the years. For all you know they may have found an enterprise use of Kinect ;-)
