Boss, Its not emirates. Go to the building next to ambank...mezzanine floor. There is a company that processes VISA for kenyan. Cant remember the name. You pay around 3k for their services. If you have travelled before in the last 1 year or can get a company to do a letter for you confirming you as an employee then u dont need the deposit. Dont you need a Degree (minumum bachelors) - for Dubai ? Ama they to-ad that thing ?
Make sure you also have not traveled to Israel before otherwise you will be held at a prison in downtown. I think the degree requirements for Kenyans was waived.
Emirates only process visas for people using their airline to travel to UAE. If you are on a different airline, then you can go to a travel agent but the $2000 deposit is a requirement for individual travelers, I confirmed this from 2 different agencies. Hi, Talk to Air Arabia, along Loita Street. They will process your visa for you, and depending on your bank statement, you will not need to give them a visa deposit. They will fly you to Sharjah, which is about 30 minutes by cab from Dubai, and their tickets are about 1/2 the ticket price for Emirates.
