Contracts and Subcontracting: ICT projects
Guys, I am a member of this list. I find this list very resourceful. Just a request. Could you be having projects that you can subcontract to me? I am a techie, confined in a wheelchair. I have been looking for a job, which you all know is quite a challenge, especially due to access challenges - buildings, stereotypes, etc- issues that I don't want to dwell on - I want to look forward. Well what I specialize includes, web administration, I can handle Web Registration, Designing to Hosting, General System Administration and Preventive maintenance, Online Campaign Database Administration. Duncan, In my experience I have found picking a niche and perfecting it goes a long way in getting you gigs. Also it would help to have a website with your best previous projects. Check out craigslist.com NYC, LA, San Francisco and elance.com I have gotten some decent projects from there. As long as you are clear on what you are greatest at. D.
