Kelvin - It will really help if you share skills on what you can accomplish and/or accomplished in your space. Just showcase what you have got to offer. This makes a huge difference. There are just many people looking for a job like you. Let me know if you need assistance with this on my mail or Skype here. If a job is not forthcoming I'd advice you not to limit yourself to IT/ database administration. Normally, graduates like yourself pursue professional courses to complement their degree and help them specialize in fields that are on demand in the job market, once in employment pursuing a Masters becomes an uphill task. Since you've already enrolled for a Masters course and are not employed, consider paid research or internships gigs where you're not comfortably employed but are able to get extensive exposure to computing (platforms and/or business systems) and develop "soft" skills(Communication and team building) as you pursue your Masters. Also consider doing something innovative that can complement your "hard" skills --> e.g "Google mpesa api github" If non of this makes sense and a job is still not forthcoming, walk into a Computer College(s) with your resume and request for a job as a part-time lecturer. You get some income, improve your communication/leadership skills and get a chance to pursue your masters part-time with a head full of hair.
