Currently, you have to chop up a normal sim... http://www.techradar.com/news/computing/apple/how-to-make-your-own-ipad-or-i... On Mon, Sep 20, 2010 at 4:41 PM, Stefan Magdalinski <stefan@mocality.com>wrote:

Hi Stefan, I don't think Safaricom does sell microSIM as yet, but you can look at the archives of this list on how to cut your SIM down to size (micro). It's a DIY, actually. -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "If you have nothing good to say about someone, just shut up!." -- Lucky Dube

I've studied the videos carefully, and my SIM is odd - the actual physical gold contact area is bigger than 12x15mm, which makes me... nervous. Has anyone here made this work? Stef

You can contact Safaricom and they can arrange to get you a MicroSIM. No need to chop your SIM card.

Yes, I know a few people who have gotten their MicroSIM directly from Safaricom - visit one of their "Care Centres" Regards, Brian On Mon, Sep 20, 2010 at 4:41 PM, Philip Musyoki <pmusyoki@gmail.com> wrote:

You can currently get them for ksh200 from the Safaricom I&M shop along Kenyatta avenue. I understand they should be available in other Safaricom retail shops in Nbi by friday this week. /pkress Sent from my BlackBerry® -----Original Message----- From: Stefan Magdalinski <stefan@mocality.com> Sender: skunkworks-bounces@lists.my.co.ke Date: Mon, 20 Sep 2010 16:41:32 To: <skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> Reply-To: Skunkworks Mailing List <skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> Subject: [Skunkworks] Safaricom microsim? _______________________________________________ Skunkworks mailing list Skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke http://orion.my.co.ke/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/skunkworks ------------ Skunkworks Server donations spreadsheet http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AopdHkqSqKL-dHlQVTMxU1VBdU1BSWJxdy1f... ------------ Skunkworks Rules http://my.co.ke/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=94 ------------ Other services @ http://my.co.ke
