Hey listers, A couple of our engineering skunks will be presenting their final year projects tommorow...you can pop in to take a peek at their inventions and what i can only refer to as "truly creative" works. of particular note the following skunks works will be on display... 1. Moffat Ngugi - Wireless Access control incorporating CCTV Cams 2. Ambrose O- Versatile Intelligent Telemetric Robot 3. Nyarotho Kennedy - Converged and interactive Telecom Grade IPTV service enabled on IMS Networks 4. Tim Muchai - Weapon detection system ............and many more! Others did their presentations today...see you there! JKUAT, Engineering the future.

" Hail to the King! " as the Duke would say.. Nice, very nice.. Maybe you gentlemen/ladies can start a " 2010 JKUAT Hall of Innovative Engineering " site for others to compete after you and also the general tech public can follow these developments. Congrats to Nyarotho Kennedy who had a lot of difficulty getting information about his project and am glad to hear his project made it. PS : I like what you mention about Muchai on weapon detection system. Is it some kind of a physics software engine that does eg trajectory measurements etc or is it some RF based microwave radar that was developed locally? It don't matter if the radar concept was done based on eg 1940's technology, as of 2010 we still have not produced our first capacitor... Great work innovators. :-) On Mon, Mar 29, 2010 at 6:21 PM, Jkuat EEE <jkuat.eee@ieeeeea.org> wrote:
