ed Omingo, I think if you look at life a little harder, you may reconsider the statement above. Life does through us a curved ball sometimes. I usually believe life is 50% your effort and 50% luck.
Warren Buffet himself admit part of his success is luck. He once said if he was born in another country that he couldn't leverage his brain, life for him would have turned differently. Imagine the second richest man admitting that for a second. I do admire that guy. Look at the opposite too. If you are born as a girl in Congo, irrespective of all your effort, you are likely to get raped. What of those born blind? They didn't try hard enough? As I said, if you look at your life, there are things that if they didn't line up, things would have turned different. Our effort do tend to bias things to our favour, buts its good to be a bit meek when things go our way. Muriithi
