How to pair your iPhone with a car radio...

Its too quiet at skunks today, Thought I would post this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdlEA3cjtRM You can buy an FM Transmitter which can charge your phone e.g iPhone as you play music - all you have to do is tune it to the specified FM bandwidth.. And the FM transmitter will charge your phone as you listen to your selected playlist from your phone hardisk/ iPod drive... The obvious advantage is that you dont have to burn *or* buy Mp3 CDs - but can carry your office music around with you... We also have blue-tooth pairing but the costs are higher. === Someone suggested that you can avoid all these costs with a back to back standard audio jackpin and all you have to do is connected one end to your phone and the other end to your car stereo or house radio - then using the 'Aux' function on the main radios, your ipod/iphone music will be amplified.. I am yet to test this as a truth - but his option will cost you no more than Ksh. 50 /- if you buy your jackpins at Luthuli. w/regards Stephen N.

The jackpin works but it wont charge your phone while you are using it.

I wonder why iPhone 3G had to make bluetooth, FM radio, MMS etc an issue. I hope they can release a patch for this soon. Rgds, Kerich. On Mon, Dec 7, 2009 at 10:10 PM, Billy <billyx5@gmail.com> wrote:

I tried the jackpin - sad story, the substandard Chinese jackpin broke inside the iphone into several immobile pieces... It has cost me a few 'h'reds' to remove the pieces from inside without damaging the phone... The jackpin option works and you can hook up your iPod or iPhone to your car stereo at Ksh. 40/ - - and you can listen to your playlist option on the Go. But make sure you use good quality Jackpins. Amen.* Apple have a strategy to keep selling phones - "do not give all features at a Go" ... That will keep buyers interested in new releases. *
