CONNECT NanoM5 to NanoM2 or Unifi

Hello All I need your assistance. I need to know if i have a Nanostation M5,will it be able to talk with a Nanostation M2 using the ethernet port? My assumption is that if i am doing a p2p link,i can use two nano m5 to do the point to point because they use a 5GHZ channel. However since laptops, phones etc use the 2.4GhZ range,i was thinking that if i used the LAN port on the M5 and connect it to the M2;it would work then i would be able to distribute it to clients. Kindly tell me if this is possible. Regards Cynthia

Yes you can! It would be the same thing as connecting the M5 to a linksys router so its possible. Alex On Fri, May 9, 2014 at 6:49 PM, Cynthia Wahome <cwahome@jambo.co.ke> wrote:

Yeah. Via Cable it will thats why the ethernet is there. Its only wireless they wont talk since one is on 2GHZ and the other on 5GHZ With Kind regards Morris.
