With three strong competitors, and with African telecos showing not been rosy as they were before, what are the prospects? Who would possibly be interested? Lets look at the facts: 1. Yu has not seen a lot of investment. Any one buying the firm would have to put investment in data especially the 3G license. Previously, there was a plan that would have seen KDN roll out an LTE network that would have been managed by Yu, however this was shelved with government announcement of an LTE network - couldn't compete.

All I can say about yu is that it works when it wants to. Great some days, other days it is terrible. The change can happen within a couple of minutes.
