@Dickson, apparently you have not answered the guys question and so you have not been very helpful, I'm sorry. Anyway as said earlier yahoo is trying to confirm that it is you and its for your own protection. Yahoo is used to you accessing it using your laptop and this time around it has detected you are access its services from "a strange" location and just wants to be sure ts you. This is not unique to yahoo. Several sensitive sites I interact with including my bank, will throw an extra layer of security if I use a totally new computer.
