Hi Friends, Please advise the performance of Faiba internet vs Zuku. I am getting conflicting statements and would like your advice. Thinking of leaving Zuku to address claim by Jamii that they provide a dedicated bandwidth. Thank you, Best regards, Athar -- Thank you, Best regards, Athar Ahmad Bhatti +254788381211 Skype: atharab http://ke.linkedin.com/pub/athar-ahmad-bhatti/6/49b/374

Faiba is a shared service... Sent on the run, Please excuse errors & omissions. On Sep 16, 2015 6:27 PM, "Athar Ahmad Bhatti via skunkworks" < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

The part of dedicated bandwidth is true for JTL. Reliability always varies from place to place. if the fiber serving you passed through areas with lots of construction you might get down times due to cuts. This is the reply I got. You are welcome to visit our offices tomorrow for surety. For the record JTL owns it's own network and the contention is 1 to 1 and it is exclusively on fiber up to your residence. ??? On Wednesday, September 16, 2015, Job Muriuki <muriukin@gmail.com> wrote:

Personally i don't trust JTL, they claim to offer a dedicated link and if you speak to one their engineers they will tell you its shared. Zuku on the other hand are honest and you get what you paid for. In terms of performance i would go for Zuku although it may get slow at times, atleast you have internet. JTL on the other hand is unstable and keeps on breaking. I observed all this from Hurlingham. On 16 September 2015 at 21:14, Richard Muteru via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

As i said service quality and availability varies from place to place. Some people say zuku serves them well others constantly complain. Same for JTL but if you are looking for a connection with symmetrical throughput go JTL way.
